What we’re looking for:

• A committed individual who demonstrates the values of determination, quality, integrity, and teamwork.
• A flexible team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• A mechanically competent, time-served technician with a systems and control bias and an understanding of electrical control wiring diagrams.
• Someone eager to learn and develop, with experience in PLC programming and fault diagnosis.
• Previous experience in the food or processing industry would be an advantage, though not essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership during shifts, supporting operations teams in a professional and proactive manner.
• Respond to breakdowns and changeovers promptly, working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern across days and nights.
• Support continuous improvement and new product development activities alongside the engineering team.
• Take ownership of tasks, delivering quality work to agreed deadlines while liaising with internal teams and contractors.

• Basic earnings of £49,400 (including flexibility payment) with overtime at time and a half after 42 hours per week.
