Multi-Skilled Engineer

Multi-Skilled Engineer needed in Ledbury, Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per year, Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm, Shifts: Monday–Friday (rotating 5:30am–2pm / 1:30pm–10pm), occasional weekends/on-call support, free onsite parking, access to onsite canteen, full uniform provided. 

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll maintain, repair, and improve production equipment across mechanical and electrical disciplines. You’ll play a key role in keeping the facility operating at peak efficiency, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards
• Collaborate with production and quality teams, mentoring junior engineers as needed

To be successful :

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent (HNC/HND desirable)
• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach
