Adult Social Worker - Single Point of Access
£46.62 per hour

37 hours p/w, 3 days in the office

We are helping our client  recruit an Experienced Social Worker for Adults Single Point of Access SPOA, which is a joint team with Early Response.

The Adults SPOA is the front door to Adult Social Care and responsible for screening and responding to all referrals made to the service, determining next steps, signposting and coordinating the offer of Information, Advice and Assistance, where possible. The team work in a collaborative and person centred way and require an experienced social worker who embodies the same values and principles.

This is a hybrid role and will require presence in the office 3 days a week with all the necessary technology and equipment to support home working the rest of the week. Any applicant interested would need to be able to meet these requirements and be able to respond from their home working should an emergency occur and office presence was needed.

To be considered for this post you must be registered with Social Care Wales, at least 3 years post qualifying experience as a social worker and have not left a Local Authority permanent contract within Wales in the last 6 months.
 
What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
