Job Description

A Junior Java Developer is now sought by a well-established software Company. Working in a dedicated agile team you will be offered the opportunity to build on your technical skills and work towards the hands-on delivery of both enhanced backend architecture and frontend user experience.

Ultimately, you will become an accomplished Full Stack Developer and the code you create will directly improve the customer user experience for the Company’s flagship products.

As the Junior Java Developer you will be involved in:
  • Design and code new product features
  • Contribute to agile workflows 
  • Resolution of issues within the production environment 
Junior Java Developer needs a rounded knowledge:
  • Commercial / Educational experience of data-driven web applications
  • Java 8+ commercial experience
  • JavaScript experience
  • React or similar UI frameworks
  • PostgreSQL and Spring Boot/JPA/Hibernate
  • Git version control
As the successful Junior Java Developer, you will be offered a starting salary £35,000 - £38,000, Company pension and healthcare, 25 days holiday and hybrid working.
