Are you a skilled Occupational Therapist eager to support adults with care needs? NRW People is excited to offer a rewarding temporary role with Powys County Council, based at County Hall in Llandrindod Wells. Starting 27 October 2025, this 12-week position addresses a temporary peak in workload, offering a chance to enhance community well-being in a stunning Welsh setting.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assess and support adults with complex care needs, developing personalised plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and multi-agency partners, delivering tailored interventions across Powys.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety standards, with travel as needed (e.g., 15 minutes to Builth Wells, 42 minutes to Brecon).
  • Work 32 hours weekly, making a positive impact in a supportive team environment.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC, with experience in adult care and support.
  • Strong assessment and planning skills, with flexibility to travel and work part-time (32 hours).
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Llandrindod Wells, LD1 5LG.
Essential Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • HCPC Registration (to be submitted with application).
  • Enhanced DBS (to be submitted with application).
  • 5 years of references/work history (to be submitted with application).
  • Signed Confidentiality Agreement (required upon offer acceptance).
