The Role
We’re seeking adaptable and reliable Supply Teachers to support a range of secondary schools across Birmingham. This flexible day-to-day role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, thrive in new environments, and want the freedom to manage their own schedule.
You’ll supervise classes across different subjects, deliver pre-set work, maintain strong behaviour expectations, and ensure students remain engaged throughout the lesson. With no planning or marking, this role offers an excellent work–life balance while still allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
 
The Candidate
We’re looking for confident classroom practitioners who are:
  • Qualified with QTS or equivalent
  • Experienced working with KS3 and KS4
  • Skilled in delivering clear instructions and managing behaviour
  • Adaptable, professional, and able to step into new settings with ease
  • Reliable and committed to supporting student learning

You’ll work across a network of Good and Outstanding Birmingham secondary schools, each offering supportive staff teams and well-structured cover systems. These roles provide excellent exposure to different school settings—ideal for teachers seeking variety or considering long-term opportunities in the future.
