The Role
A welcoming secondary school in Solihull is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support their KS3 and KS4 classes from November 2025. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build classroom experience, whether through long-term placements or flexible day-to-day cover.
You’ll supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students stay on task and maintaining a positive, productive learning environment. This is a great opportunity for aspiring teachers, support staff stepping up, or experienced supervisors seeking a new challenge.
The Candidate
We’re looking for calm, reliable, and proactive individuals who enjoy working with young people. You should be:
- Confident managing classroom behaviour
- Able to follow and deliver pre-prepared lesson plans
- Adaptable across different subjects and year groups
- A clear communicator with strong organisational skills
- Positive, professional, and able to build rapport quickly
- Experience working in a school setting is beneficial, but candidates from youth work, coaching, tutoring, or similar backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
