The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Walsall from November 2025. This is a long-term assignment with full teaching responsibilities across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate.
You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to think critically, develop strong literacy skills, and foster a lifelong love of reading and writing. The role will include marking, assessment, and contributing to the department’s collaborative curriculum planning.
 
The Candidate
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable English specialist who can motivate students and maintain high expectations. You should be:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experienced in teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
  • Confident in classroom management and differentiation strategies
  • Creative and able to deliver lessons that engage and challenge learners
  • Committed to raising achievement and promoting a positive learning environment
