The Role
A forward-thinking secondary school in Walsall is seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join them on a permanent basis from September 2025. The successful candidate will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils build a strong understanding of physical and human geography while encouraging curiosity about the world around them.
You’ll be joining a dynamic humanities team that values collaboration, innovation, and high-quality teaching. There’s room for you to shape schemes of work, lead field trips, and stretch your professional development with tailored CPD opportunities. ECTs will benefit from excellent mentorship and structured support throughout their induction year.
 
The Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Holds UK QTS or is an ECT on track to qualify
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a flair for making geography relevant and engaging
  • Is committed to inclusive, high-achieving teaching
  • Brings energy, organisation, and a positive attitude to school life
