Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience before beginning teacher training in 2026?

*** Graduate Teaching Assistant
*** September 2025 to July 2026
*** £85 - £100 per day
*** ‘Good’ primary school, Central Wolverhampton
*** Provide intervention sessions to raise attainment levels

The Role:
This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is focused on delivering academic interventions to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you’ll plan and lead small group sessions or 1:1 support targeting literacy and numeracy. You’ll monitor pupil progress, adapt your approach to meet individual needs, and contribute to raising attainment across the school.

The Candidate:
Ideal for a graduate with aspirations to become a teacher, this role suits someone with strong communication skills, initiative, and a genuine passion for education. You should be confident working with primary-aged pupils and comfortable leading academic sessions. Previous experience with children, either through voluntary or paid work, will be beneficial.

The School:
This Central Wolverhampton primary school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for its strong leadership and inclusive values. Staff are friendly and collaborative, with excellent support in place for those new to the classroom. The school places a strong focus on pupil progress and professional development for all team members.

Due to the number of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
