Job Description

SEND Team Manager, Liverpool 
 
Must have previous been a SEND Team Manager and have excellent people management skills.  
 
Main duties are : * to take the lead responsibility for the effective management of duties relating to EHC needs assessments and plans * to lead on the effective planning of placements across mainstream, special and non-maintained independent sector for pupils with EHC plans  
 
Will be responsible to line manage 7 direct reports and work closely with SEND Casework Officers in casework management, creating and maintaining robust allocations systems. *Clear management in utilising the full skillset of those individuals and delegating to ensure effective team performance and compliance with statutory timescales * Ensure there are robust processes for handling concerns and complaints efficiently and effectively  
 
Minimum of 2 days per week on site (one day must be a Tuesday) Pay rate upto £46ph ltd / umbrella
