A thriving secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint an Interim Assistant Headteacher to lead on Attendance, Behaviour, Pastoral Care, and Inclusion. Job Role:
- Overseeing attendance, behaviour, pastoral care, and inclusion across the school.
- Supporting staff to maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
- Leading and developing pastoral systems to promote student wellbeing and success.
- Monitoring attendance and implementing effective strategies for improvement.
- Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to uphold school values and vision.
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to support inclusion.
- Joining a cohesive and supportive leadership team.
- A positive, well-managed school environment where students are eager to learn.
