Job Description
Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with complex learning needs? A welcoming and nurturing special school in Birmingham is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, communication difficulties, and profound learning difficulties.
This Teaching Assistant role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by working closely with class teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver personalised learning and care. Job Role:
- Supporting pupils with complex learning needs in a primary special school setting
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning and care
- Assisting with personal care and managing challenging behaviours when required

- Helping pupils to communicate, engage, and progress at their own pace
