Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for children in Key Stage 3&4 with special educational needs, including Autism, MLD, communication impairments, and SLD. This role requires a empathetic and patient teaching assistant who tailors their support to meet the needs of students. Job Role:
- Providing tailored support for a child with special educational needs.
- Working closely with an experienced team of teaching assistants to provide the best possible support.
- Understanding a range of Special Educational Needs including Autism, Complex Needs, and Aspergers’.
- Supporting the child on a 1-2-1 basis, delivering intervention where required.
- Managing behaviours, helping the child to engage with lessons.
- Recording progress of the child and reporting to the SENCO.
- Receive outstanding support from an experienced SENCO and team of teaching assistants.
- A long-term opportunity at the same school, delivering tailored support.
- Support from an experienced consultant from The Education Network.
