Job Description

This amazing, award winning, SEMH school in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2025.
This award-winning school supports Key Stage 3 and 4 students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, delivering a tailored curriculum in small classes where you can have a real impact. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, with strong leadership and a shared focus on student development, wellbeing, and academic achievement. This role requires QTS and is not suitable for ECTs.
Job Role:
- Teaching English to small groups of Key Stage 3 & 4 students
- Creating inclusive and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
- Using behaviour management strategies to support learning and wellbeing
- Working closely with support staff and leadership to track progress
- Helping students re-engage with education and achieve their potential
- A permanent teaching position in a highly respected SEMH school
