Teaching Assistant – SEND School – Birmingham
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to support students with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with pupils with Autism and a passion for making a real difference? A specialist SEND school in Birmingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide tailored support to Key Stage 3 and 4 students with a range of moderate and complex needs. 

This school provides a structured and nurturing environment where students with Autism and additional needs can thrive. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to ensure students receive the best possible education and care. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a SEND setting and be confident in supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis.

Job Role:
  • Supporting students with Autism and additional needs in a specialist setting.
  • Providing one-to-one and small-group intervention to aid learning and development.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering structured and engaging lessons.
  • Implementing personalised learning plans to support students' progress.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
