Are you passionate about sport and supporting young people with Autism (ASD)?
Pertemps Education are seeking a dedicated Sports Teaching Assistant to join a specialist ASD school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping pupils engage in physical education and develop key social and learning skills through sport.
The Role:

• Supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) in PE lessons and sports activities
• Encouraging participation, teamwork, and confidence through structured physical programmes
• Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom routines and learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Helping create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people with ASD or additional needs
• A passion for sport, physical education, and wellbeing
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient in supporting diverse needs
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Sports Coaching, PE, SEN Support) are desirable but not essential
