Pay Rate: Upt to £110 per day dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, ongoing

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant (Specialist Practitioner Level 7) to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the learning and development of pupils with a range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children with SEND across a variety of age groups.
• Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
• Work closely with teaching staff and other support professionals to deliver high-quality educational support.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support pupils with personal care if required (dependent on needs).

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Level 7 qualification in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Proven experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting.
• A strong understanding of a range of additional needs (e.g., ASD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
