🔧 Assembly Operative – Full-Time
📍 Location: Malvern
💷 Starting Pay: £12.78 per hour
🕒 Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30
Friday: 07:45 – 15:00
Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch and two paid short breaks per day

We are currently looking for a skilled Assembly Operative to join our growing production team. This is a hands-on role assembling high-quality water heaters and boilers, ideal for someone with a background in mechanical or electrical assembly.
This full-time opportunity offers stable hours, training, and the chance to grow your skills in a supportive manufacturing environment.

🔩 Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical and electrical assembly of products in line with technical drawings and instructions
• Performing pressure and leak testing
• Carrying out final product testing and basic fault rectification
• Maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency in all work
• Supporting various departments such as electrical, spares, sheet metal, or stores when needed
• Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines

👷 Person Specification: We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in equipment or appliance assembly
• Can confidently read and follow technical drawings
• Is physically fit and capable of lifting and moving components
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Is reliable, detail-focused, and methodical in approach
• Communicates clearly and takes pride in producing quality work

✅ Desirable Skills:

• Experience in gas appliance or boiler assembly
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths – Grade C or above
• Forklift truck licence (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with product testing or troubleshooting
