Are you a highly organised, tech-savvy professional who enjoys using data and digital systems to deliver real results? We’re looking for a Senior Transport Administrator to play a key role in supporting our Network Management & Enforcement team, Engineers, and Project Managers in delivering vital transport projects across the city.

This role goes beyond basic administration — you’ll be using multiple software systems, managing complex project data, producing reports and presentations, and helping to keep our city moving efficiently.

What you’ll do
  • Provide high-level administrative and technical support to Transport teams and Project Managers.
  • Use a range of digital tools — including Outlook, MS Teams, Excel and bespoke internal software — to manage, track, and report on projects.
  • Collect, analyse and present data to support informed decision-making.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and the public to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain meticulous records in line with legislation, policies, and governance standards.
  • Prioritise and manage a busy workload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.

What you’ll bring
  • Strong IT and data-handling skills, with experience in Excel, MS Teams, and digital project systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills.
  • A flexible, conscientious approach and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
(Full training will be provided on all internal systems and processes.)

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to take on a technically engaging role where your organisation, data, and software skills will make a tangible difference.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering essential transport services and projects that support the city’s long-term vision.

We’re proud to foster an inclusive, supportive workplace where everyone can contribute, develop, and be their best.
