Job Title: Assembly Operative

Location: Egham

Salary: £27,500 per annum
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am to 5:15pm
Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

 
The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a market leader in fixed refrigerant leak detection products. Supplying to the commercial, retail, and marine sectors, they design, manufacture, and support innovative solutions for safety and compliance.

Our client is seeking an Assembly Operative to join their production team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys hands-on work in a technical environment.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components for refrigerant leak detection systems.
• Work with small parts, hand tools, and test equipment to build reliable, high-quality products.
• Follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications accurately.
• Carry out quality checks and functional testing during the build process.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets.

• Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, electronics
• Good hand–eye coordination and ability to work with precision on small components.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and processes.
• A reliable team player with a proactive attitude.
