Job Description

This role will be based in our Clearwater Court, Reading with the option of hybrid or remote working.

You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring all the key administration steps of our Digital renewals / procurements processes, including raising requests, tracking, receipting, and capturing costs for the preparation of accurate and timely financial information to support and enable the analysis and reporting of Thames Digital’s operational financial position.

The role requires developing and managing the relationships between many teams (internal and external) and ensuring stakeholders, third parties, and governance areas are fully informed and engaged in the hand-offs and tracking of renewals and new commercial requests.

What you’ll be doing as a Requisition Budget Coordinator
  • Track and monitor service / software and support renewals across Thames Digital and ensuring these are started, progressed, and completed within agreed timescales.
  • Where needed assist Commercial in engaging business owners, vendors, cost centre managers to establishing requirements and budget provision
  • Timely and accurately capture and input of all information (into SAP) relating to renewals and new requests as part of the shopping cart process to create and issue Purchase Orders.
  • Record and save all renewal and request information to agreed audit repository standards.
  • Proactively help resolve issues with vendors regarding payments, Purchase Orders, company name changes etc.
  • Work with internal teams, cost centre owners and stakeholders to pro-actively and efficiently receipt costs with correct approvals.
  • Monitor operational financial progress on a monthly basis as well as helping create and define financial reports.
  • Supporting the Finance Lead in ensuring a high level of financial control is in place.
What you should bring to the role
  • Previous or similar experience with administration activities with procurement, purchasing, supplier, or requester activities.
  • Experience of managing multiple tasks to completion whilst ensure a high level of data accuracy to audit and financial standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with financial reporting & budgeting.
  • Experience with working on multiple processes with conflicting priorities
  • Month-end reporting including forecasting & variance analysis
