Contract Type: 6 months FTC
Reporting to: Director of Human Resources
 
About the Role:
Are you a HR assistant looking for a new opportunity? Our client based in paisley are looking for a hard-working HR professional to join their team. The HR Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the employee experience from recruitment through to onboarding, development and performance. You’ll work closely with managers and staff to ensure HR processes are delivered smoothly and professionally, while also helping to maintain a culture of continuous improvement and staff wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support recruitment and onboarding, including advertising roles, coordinating interviews, and preparing contracts.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all employee documentation is kept up to date.
  • Coordinate staff induction and training activities in line with organisational needs.
  • Assist managers with routine HR queries and processes such as absence tracking and performance reviews.
  • Provide administrative support across areas such as employee changes, compliance checks (e.g. DBS/PVG), and probation tracking.
  • Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives and maintain training records.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in an HR role covering a broad range of administrative and operational HR tasks.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • A sound understanding of HR processes and good working knowledge of employment law basics.
  • Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
