Private Client Partner, 4+ PQE, Somerset, Salary up to £75K DOE.
A dynamic and client-focused firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to lead and develop its Private Client Department, managing a varied caseload while driving team performance and business growth. THE ROLE:
• Lead the Private Client Department, managing day-to-day operations and supervising fee earners and support staff.
• Maintain high standards across all client matters and ensure compliance with firm policies, including Lexcel.
• Oversee the department’s financial performance, including budgeting, billing and meeting performance targets.
• Identify and pursue fee-earning and business development opportunities to drive growth.
• Play a key role in marketing initiatives to promote the department’s services and enhance client relationships.

THE CANDIDATE:
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years’ PQE in private client law.
• Experienced in handling a broad range of matters including wills, probate, trusts, Powers of Attorney and estate planning.
• Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and develop others.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on exceptional client care.
• Commercially aware, with experience managing departmental budgets, billing and performance targets.
• Proactive and strategic approach to business development and maintaining strong client relationships
