THE ROLE:
You will provide vital administrative and secretarial support to a team of Private Client solicitors, ensuring the smooth running of the department. Duties include preparing legal documents and correspondence, managing diaries and client files, liaising with clients and external parties, assisting with probate applications and powers of attorney, supporting billing and case management and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will have at least one year’s experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Private Client or Wills & Probate department, with a good understanding of private client work including wills, probate, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. You will demonstrate excellent organisational and document production skills with strong attention to detail, along with confident interpersonal abilities and a professional, empathetic approach when dealing with clients. Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
