A leading, full-service law firm with a top-tier Private Client practice is seeking an ambitious and technically strong Private Client Solicitor to join its large and growing team based in South West London. This is a superb opportunity to join a highly respected department advising high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, international clients, entrepreneurs and family businesses. The team’s reputation and technical expertise rival that of many Top 100 firms, offering both quality work and a supportive, collegiate environment.

The role will involve:
  • Managing your own diverse caseload of wills, trusts, estate planning, tax, and estate administration matters.
  • Advising on a range of private client issues including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and succession planning.
  • Exposure to complex cross-border, business succession and mental capacity work.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, referrers and other professionals.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives, networking, and article writing.

The ideal candidate:
  • Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in private client work.
  • Strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and genuine interest in developing your practice.
  • STEP or tax-focused qualifications (or interest in obtaining them) are highly desirable and will be fully supported.

Why apply?
  • Opportunity to work on high-quality, varied private client matters.
  • Exposure to HNW/UHNW clients and international work.
  • Excellent professional development with a structured cohort-based training programme.
  • Agile working policy (up to 40% from home).
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
