About the Role

Warwickshire Music is seeking an experienced Business & Resource Manager to provide interim support during a key period of operational transition. This senior role forms part of the Warwickshire Music Senior Leadership Team and plays a vital part in the effective and efficient management of all business and resource functions that underpin music education delivery across the county.

The service is currently implementing a new CRM system. Delays and operational issues since September have created challenges across financial processing, teacher payroll, timetabling, contract management, and data reporting. You will work alongside the existing Business & Resource Manager to stabilise core processes, troubleshoot system functionality, and support the successful rollout and long-term optimisation of the platform.
This role is perfect for someone who can quickly understand complex systems, streamline processes, and deliver both immediate fixes and sustainable operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end management of all business and resource functions to ensure smooth operational delivery for Warwickshire Music.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning and supporting the development of the Service's financial strategy.
  • Work with Area Leaders to support teacher payroll and timetabling processes, ensuring accuracy and stability.
  • Ensure all business systems, processes, data capture and reporting functions operate efficiently and support high-quality service delivery to schools, children and families.
  • Help ensure the CRM system is used to its full potential, enabling streamlined contract management, payment solutions, data automation, and effective reporting.
  • Drive improvements in business processes across the service, using automation wherever possible to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of customer service across all business and resource functions.
  • Troubleshoot CRM issues including scheduling errors, backdating problems, and workflow inconsistencies; support both short-term fixes and long-term system configuration.
  • Assist with debt monitoring, financial operations, and wider business management tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong operational background in business, finance, or resource management.
  • Proven experience working with CRM or finance management systems, particularly during rollouts or process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose operational issues and deliver effective solutions.
  • Experience delivering business process improvements, automation, and workflow optimisation.
  • Confident working at a senior level, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
