In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Applications team to implement, maintain, and enhance the Dynamics 365 environment. Your expertise will be key to streamlining processes, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling colleagues and partners to work smarter and more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to design and enhance Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions tailored to our charity’s needs.
- Provide expert 2nd and 3rd line support to ensure systems run reliably and issues are swiftly resolved.
- Maintain accurate, clean data and optimise Canvas Apps for end users.
- Lead testing and deployment of new features, ensuring they meet user requirements through comprehensive User Acceptance Testing.
- Manage integrations between Dynamics 365 and other tools to create seamless workflows.
- Design custom workflows that improve efficiency and reflect the charity’s business processes.
- Produce and maintain clear, accessible documentation to support users and the IT team.
- Assist the wider IT team with SharePoint design and managing user access.
- Apply your problem-solving skills and creativity to tackle new challenges and continuously improve our systems.
- Degree or relevant experience, ideally supported by Microsoft Certification in D365 Systems Administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Hands-on experience administering Dynamics 365 and developing with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like SSIS and strong MS SQL skills.
- Ability to write clear User Acceptance Test scripts and produce technical documentation that’s easy to understand.
- Comfortable working within Agile project environments and adept at diagnosing and resolving complex D365 issues.
- Bonus: Experience with Business Central, MS Access, VBA, C#, or .NET development.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- A genuine commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, reflecting the values of our charity
