Machine Operative

We are currently seeking a Machine Operative to join a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln.
 
This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.
 
What will I be paid?
Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour.
 
What hours will I be working?
You will be following 2 days on and then 2 days off shift pattern. Shifts will start at 06:00 and finish at 17:50.
 
What will I be doing as a Production Operative?

• Operating and maintaining equipment, such as CNC machines, lathes, or milling machines
• Setting up machinery for production
• Monitoring machine performance and adjusting as needed
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet standards
• Collaborating with the machine shop team to meet daily or weekly production targets

What skills and experience do I need?

• Valid, RTITB Reach Truck Certificate (Essential)
• Competent English and numeracy skills
• Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with tools and equipment
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Experience in CNC Machine Operation (preferred)
• Manufacturing background (preferred)
• Reliable transport to reach site
