Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Construction | Permanent | West Cornwall

We’re seeking a skilled and commercially savvy Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established team delivering a variety of construction projects across the region. This role plays a pivotal part in the commercial success of each project, from procurement and budgeting to reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on budgeting, procurement, and cost management across construction projects
• Build and manage relationships within a robust supply chain
• Prepare financial reports and track project performance, including CVRs
• Support sustainability and social value initiatives, including alignment with frameworks
• Liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
• Provide oversight on contractual matters and assist with dispute resolution when required

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (degree or equivalent)
• Membership or working towards RICS (or similar professional body)
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and construction legislation
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical reporting skills
• Understanding of sustainable procurement and social value frameworks
• Familiarity with ISO-certified management systems is a plus
