Job Description

Start date: ASAP

Location: Edinburgh

Duration: 3 weeks initially

Pay rate: £12.90 per hour

Hours: Monday–Saturday, 12:00pm – 8:00pm (37.5 hrs/week) – 5 days out off 6

Main Duties:

Cleaning and maintaining communal areas to ensure they are presentable, hygienic, and welcoming for all residents and visitors.
Dusting and vacuuming various surfaces and floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
Emptying bins regularly and ensuring waste is disposed of in accordance with site procedures.
Following Health & Safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment and protect the wellbeing of staff and residents.
Carrying out ad hoc cleaning tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Key Skills:

Previous professional cleaning experience.
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained.
Good time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, and how to use them safely and effectively.
Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
Good communication skills, especially when interacting with residents, colleagues, or visitors.
