CAD Engineer

Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Halesowen
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (39 hours per week)
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a CAD Designer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Halesowen. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative team working on a wide range of exciting design and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks 2024 and DraftSight
• Modify and update existing CAD drawings in response to design changes
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and project teams to ensure seamless design implementation
• Support prototype development and contribute to design revisions
• Maintain accurate drawing records and ensure all designs comply with quality and design standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience using SolidWorks (ideally 2024) and DraftSight
• Solid understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
• High level of accuracy in interpreting and producing technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Additional Information:

• This is an on-site role based in Halesowen – remote or hybrid working is not available for this position.
