Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £14.36-£14.87 / £28K-£29K (DOE)
Length: 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days

The Opportunity
Are you passionate about Human Resources and do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Administrator to become an integral part of our energetic HR team. Reporting to the Generalist HR Manager, you will be at the heart of our HR operations, providing essential support and guidance to managers and employees alike.

What You'll Do
  • As the HR Administrator, you will serve as the first point of contact for site-specific queries, ensuring that both managers and employees receive timely and accurate information.
  • Respond to HR and payroll-related inquiries, using sound judgment to determine when to make decisions or statements on behalf of HR, or when to direct the issue to the appropriate person for resolution.
  • Assist in communicating information to the wider organisation, including Email/TV briefs and vacancy boards, to support HR communications across all platforms.
  • Maintain high standards in processing HR tasks, from onboarding new starters to managing employee transitions and updates.
  • Support the site with comprehensive onboarding activities from start to end, including the arrangement and running of assessment centres, handling offer paperwork and issuing contracts of employment, and conducting reference and DBS checks.
  • Keep employee records meticulously organised, both digitally and on paper.
  • Support engagement activities to create a great workplace culture, making the client an exceptional place to work.
  • Compile and analyse HR data for management reports.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity in line with GDPR and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar HR role, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Exemplary IT Skills (Work/Excel/HRIS)
