RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING SOLICITOR / FEE EARNER – North Yorkshire 

Up to £50K DOE | Hybrid Working


I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a long-established, well-respected law firm in North Yorkshire that’s looking to grow its property team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Fee Earner to manage their own caseload with flexibility and support.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and people-first culture where client care is a priority and where work-life balance is genuinely respected.

The Role:

You'll manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including;

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

Transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and shared ownership

Liaising with clients, agents, and lenders to ensure smooth transactions

Supervising conveyancing assistants and supporting junior staff

The firm uses a modern case management system (Proclaim) to support file progression and efficiency.

What They're Looking For:

Experience running a full residential conveyancing caseload independently

Solid knowledge of the conveyancing process, compliance, and risk management

Confident communicator with excellent client care skills

Strong time management and organisational ability

Proficiency in legal IT systems – Proclaim is a plus

A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to support others
