Class 2 HGV Driver – 4 on 4 off – Ongoing Work
Location: Rugby
Pay: £15.74 per hour (42.67 hrs basic) – Overtime paid at 1.5x
Contract: Ongoing, with pay parity from day one
Start Times: Between 01:00 – 17:00 (issued within 4-hour start windows)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – minimum shift length 12 hours 11 minutes

The Role We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team in Rugby on an ongoing basis.

This is a varied and active role involving nationwide deliveries, with regular routes across the Midlands, London, and the South East.
Typical duties include:

• Roll cage deliveries
• Tail lift work
• Recycling collections
• Occasional pallet drops

This position offers stability, consistent shift patterns, and competitive pay with overtime enhancements.
What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
• Valid UK Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
• Comfortable with manual handling (roll cages, tail lifts, etc.)
• Flexibility with varying start times

Pay & Hours

• Basic Rate: £15.74 per hour (42.67 hours per week)
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x, calculated monthly
• Additional Shifts: Any work beyond the 4 on / 4 off rota is paid at the guaranteed overtime rate

Example:

• 16 shifts per month = 194 hours 56 minutes base
• Any hours above this are paid at the overtime rate
• Overtime is paid in the first pay week of the following month
