Audit Senior - Plymouth

Location: Plymouth (Hybrid working options available)
Hours: Ideally 36.25 hours / 5 days per week (flexible options available)
Level: Part-qualified or recently qualified (ACA/ACCA)

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading audit fieldwork across a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Preparing financial statements for both audit and non-audit clients
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming their go-to adviser
  • Supporting and coaching junior colleagues on audit assignments
  • Presenting technical matters clearly and practically
  • Conducting technical research to support clients and colleagues
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services and departmental development
  • Representing the firm at local networking and business events
  • Travelling to clients across the region as needed (mileage supported; hybrid working encouraged)

What We're Looking For
  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified
  • Solid audit experience within an accountancy practice
  • Experience preparing financial statements and leading audit assignments
  • Clear communicator who can simplify the complex for clients
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to grow
  • Good knowledge of UK FRS and International Auditing Standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Caseware is a bonus, but not essential
