A well-established and respected UK manufacturer of high-quality architectural products is seeking an experienced Powder Coater / Wet Sprayer to join their team. The company has built an excellent reputation over 30+ years, with products trusted globally across a wide range of industries including commercial, healthcare, education, transport, and luxury residential projects.
 
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing a variety of metal components using both powder coating and wet spraying techniques. The role requires a high level of precision, with a focus on delivering durable, high-quality finishes to meet strict production and customer standards.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Powder coating and wet spraying of metal components to an exceptional standard.
• Preparing surfaces including cleaning, masking, shot-blasting, and priming.
• Accurately mixing and applying coatings in line with specifications.
• Operating and maintaining spray booths, curing ovens, and spray equipment.
• Conducting quality checks on coating thickness, adhesion, and finish.
• Following health & safety procedures and keeping the work area clean and organised.
• Working independently and collaboratively to meet production targets

 
Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in powder coating and wet spraying.
• Solid knowledge of preparation, application, and curing processes.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Experience with ceramic coatings is desirable (training can be provided).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment without compromising precision.
• Reliable, proactive, and a good communicator with strong teamwork skills.
