Supervising Electrician

Overview:
Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for an experienced 18th Edition Qualified Electrician to take on a Supervising Electrician role within a commercial and industrial environment based in the heart of the Midlands. The role involves maintenance work, EV charger installations, circuit design, testing, and supervision of apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
• Install and commission EV charging points
• Design and modify electrical circuits and perform load calculations
• Carry out testing and inspections in line with BS 7671
• Supervise apprentices and ensure health & safety compliance
• Maintain accurate records and certifications

Requirements:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Essential
• Level 3 Electrical Installation (NVQ or equivalent)
• City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing
• Experience in commercial/industrial environments
• EV charger installation experience
• Full UK driving licence Essential
• Flexibility for occasional weekend

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday (Days)

Pay Rate:

• £20.00 - £22.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Permanent position offered after a successful trial period
