Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Machinist with strong skills in operating conventional machining equipment. This role involves producing precision components to tight tolerances using manual machines including grinders, lathes (turning), milling machines, jig borers, and drill presses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual machines for precision component manufacturing
  
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions
  
  
• Perform accurate measurements using micrometres, verniers, and other inspection tools
  
  
• Maintain high-quality standards while meeting production deadlines
  
  
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines
  
  
• Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience in conventional machining operations
  
  
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  
  
• Familiarity with workshop health and safety standards
  
  
• Apprenticeship or formal training in machining (preferred but not essential)
