Meter Reader Operative (20 hours per week)

Meter Reader Operative (NEEDED ASAP – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!)

· Salary: £12.60 per hour + bonuses

· Location: Bolton

(Must hold a UK Driving licence and own your own vehicle)  Mileage Reimbursement - 30.5p per mile. 

In this role, you'll use your own vehicle to visit both residential and commercial locations within your designated area. Your responsibilities will include;
· Driving to a designated area local to you
· Knocking on doors and being customer service friendly, making them aware your checking Meter Readings.
· Obtaining utility meter readings at residential/commercial properties
· Conducting visual inspections of metering equipment
· Recording data through our client’s mobile/tablet app
· Move to the next location and repeat process

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting new people and are comfortable engaging with customers. Our client provides comprehensive training, along with regular inductions held across the country, to ensure you're well-prepared for the role.


The Essentials: (MUST HAVE)

· Driving Licence, entitling you to drive in the UK - with no more than 6 points.
· Use of your own vehicle with business insurance and current MOT.
· Must be able to pass a basic DBS check.
· 3 years referencing


Job Details:
· Working Week: Monday to Friday –20 hours per week– between 8am-8pm
· Overtime: Available on weekends – paid at flat rate £12.60ph
· Mileage reimbursement: 30.5p per mile
