Adult Social Worker, Mental Health,  Sutton 
Pay rate - £30 per hour  
One full time Social Worker needed for the LB Sutton Mental Health team. This role is for a Mental Health Social Worker working within the local authority mental health social care team, specifically working on hospital discharges from mental health hospitals. The Social Worker MUST be experienced in managing complex Adults Mental Health cases. They MUST have experience working in mental health for a Local Authority and completing statutory Care Act tasks, specifically Care Act assessments, reviews and care planning. They should have experience working alongside multi disciplinary professionals, S117, attending ward rounds, working with Housing and brokerage, Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, carrying out Safeguarding Enquiries and duty work. The Social worker should be a driver with their own transport to travel around the borough and out of borough when needed. The Social worker will need to be experienced working under pressurised environment, proactive with managing complex cases and prioritising workloads given the fast pace of mental health social work. Please note, this role is within a Local Authority Mental Health Social Work team and is NOT a Care Coordination role. Please ensure applicants are aware of this and only submit candidates who have the above mandatory experience (Care Act Mental Health work).
