This long-term opportunity offers excellent pay up to £14.29 per hour, consistent overtime, and a genuine temp-to-perm pathway.
Position: Automotive Production Operative
Location: Central Birmingham
Pay Rate: Up to £16.38 per hour
Shifts: Rotating Days and nights available

• 06:00–13:30 / 13:30–21:00 – Double days
• 21:00 – 06:00 – Nights

What You'll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in high-precision automotive production, working with advanced machinery to manufacture components for major car brands. Daily tasks include:

• Operating and setting CNC machinery, including CNC laser welders, water jets, hydraulic presses, and manual equipment
• Using robot welders to produce high-quality automotive assemblies
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production plans
• Following strict quality standards to maximise stock usage and reduce scrap
• Maintaining accurate computer-based stock and production records
• Programming machines to set up, prepare, and cut materials
• Handling components safely and efficiently in line with health & safety procedures
• Continuously developing knowledge of materials and processes within the production line

What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:

• At least 12 months' experience operating CNC or manual production machinery
• Previous experience as an Automotive Production Operative
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• PC literacy and the ability to follow digital processes
• A self-motivated, analytical, and dependable approach to work
