One of the UK's leading Environmental compliance consultancies are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join the commercial team covering Cambridgeshire and the East of England.



The Business Development Manager will be responsible for all sales activity in the East of England. Whilst the company will support you with leads and market intelligence, you will be expected to generate the majority of your own business in a targeted environment. In addition to finding new business and setting appointments over the phone, you will also be client-facing whilst managing your own diary.



The right candidate for the Business Development Manager role will have the following skills & experience:

• Strong new business sales experience, both over the phone and face to face

• Industry experience within Water Treatment / Water Hygiene or a related Environmental sector (Asbestos, Fire Safety, Environmental Compliance etc)

• Proven track record of working in a targeted sales environment

• Able to work independently



The Business Development Manager role will suit tenacious, ambitious business developer looking to move to a market leading independent consultancy



A basic salary between £30-50k is on offer for the Business Development Manager, with the top end of the salary bracket reserved for those with Water Hygiene / Water Treatment experience. In addition to the basic salary, a fully expensed company car and a superb commission structure which regularly sees members of the sales team earn double OTE is on offer.
